Location: Soto Sect Sosanji Temple (1-4-3 Sunako, Kawasaki-ku, Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa Prefecture)

Fee: Free admission (paid content available within the venue)

There are 88,000 shrines and 75,000 temples across Japan.

Before the Meiji era, temples were also places where children could learn how to read, write, and use an abacus, and many children visited temples.

In addition, there were various events on festival days, and by gathering people, they helped form local communities.

However, as times have changed, fewer people visit the temple grounds.

How can we convey this to people in the modern Reiwa era?

Due to the rise of SNS and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, face-to-face communication is becoming less common. We want to break through this situation and make many people smile.
